American Film Institute: Morgan Freeman
A promotional campaign for the broadcast of AFI: Morgan Freeman on TV Land. We achieved an elegant and cinematic look/tone using a mix of inexpensive analog and digital techniques. A few hours spent experimenting with a fish tank filled with milk and exposed to light, produced beautiful and functional background textures for the main composite. Using this technique, we were able to achieve a look that appeared less-computer generated and more similar to one shot on film.
